I'm a little behind on times but I finally got around to picking up gran turismo 5I really wanted to get a sweet steering wheel that works well for the game and these were my choices.

Logitech G27: $250 used $300+ new
After reading and watching a bunch of reviews the fanatec was the clear winner when it came to bang for the buck. It has a clutch ,which the logitech DFGT doesnt have, and the shifter is actually a 6 speed H pattern with a reverse.
It should all get here early next week. In the mean time I'm drawing up plans to build a cockpit set up with an actual bucket seat.

Here is the current state of my project, pretty pitiful. Block and head are getting dropped of at the machine shop on Monday.

And a shot of where all the magic happens.......needs some organizing.

Bobbers are cool.
However I hate the name, names create categories and guidelines.
Here's my old bike I built and others I like.

first post

After much hesitation, I gave in to the idea of keeping up with a blog.

I'm passionate about things that are well made.  I'm fascinated by those who dedicate their lives to perfecting their craft.  I'm interested in a time where.......oh who am I kidding.

This is just another car blog, but I'll share some other interests along the way.

More on these pictures later
